Grace-fueled service is motivated by the work of God in us and is an expression of love towards others. Those who have been impacted by the gospel have countless opportunities both within the church, and outside of it, to pursue acts of service, compassion, and justice - empowered by a passion for the glory of God.

Brief Descriptions of Ministry Teams
Create a welcoming environment where strangers are treated as friends and relationships are cultivated. Ways to serve: arrange Sunday refreshments, welcome at the door, help visitors get more info.
Holy Cross Kids Team
Maintain a safe and loving environment for children where the Bible is taught and we learn about Jesus; equipping parents with the tools necessary to spiritually engage with their children. Ways to serve: Teaching Bible stories, helping with crafts, provide support during Sunday lessons and/or nursery care.
Magnify & Youth Ministry Team
Helping the youth at Holy Cross to radically re-orient their lives around the gospel in community. Ways to serve: Investing in/mentoring students, grades 3 - 12. Leading or hosting a Youth Life Group. Volunteering for our Magnify ministry (ministry to kids in grades 3-6).
Life Group Team
Connect people into community with others in the form of weekly small groups, helping them understand and apply the Bible to everyday life. Ways to serve: Leading, or co-leading a Life Group. Hosting a Life Group at your house.
Communion Serve Team
Serving the weekly Lord’s Supper to the congregation and taking up our monthly offering during the Sunday service.
Leading the church into an awareness and enjoyment of God’s presence where we can respond in all ways biblical to who he is and what he has done. Ways to serve: Play an instrument, sing, read Scripture, run sound/slides, video and/or media creation, graphic design.
Organizing and planning opportunities for our church to get together and have a great time. If you love planning events and having parties, this is a great team for you.
