A life devoted to prayer is essential to what it means to have a relationship with God. Not only is it obedience to his command, but it is also an important means for us to receive his grace for our spiritual health and growth. We desire to be a church community who believe in the value of gathering together for prayer. At Evening Prayer, we seek the Lord's will and favor for our church, our community, our nation, and the world.

"Prayer is both conversation and encounter with God. We must know the awe of praising his glory, the intimacy of finding his grace, and the struggle of asking his help, all of which can lead us to know the spiritual reality of his presence". (Tim Keller, Prayer)
