One Service - Sunday Morning Worship at 9:30 am  |  Watch our Livestream HERE

In all biblical analogies for the church, it is implied that the relationship between a Christian and the church is to be one of unity, commitment, and love. Church membership is an important part of participating in the body of Christ at Holy Cross and therefore we give you a vision for this relationship and address a basic framework for living out God's mission as his brought-together people.

You'll hear about our mission to magnify God's glory, live as God's people, and engage in God's mission. And, better yet, you'll hear from leaders and members in our church on how to best demonstrate and live out this mission. Attending a membership class is required for membership, but participation in the class does not obligate you to join.

  2. Attend an in-person New Member Orientation Dinner
  3. Complete the Individual Ministry Profile Packet (Available at Orientation Dinner)
  4. Share your personal testimony with a church elder

Q: When is the next Membership Class?

A: Our online membership class is available throughout the year. Our class consists of about 4 hours of online video instruction. You can watch these at your own pace, following along with our workbook. We recommend you complete these courses within about a week or less.

Q: Where do I find these videos?

A: Our class is hosted through ServeHQ - an online video platform. When you register for the class (using the link above) you will be sent an automated follow-up email with instructions on how to access the videos and begin the course.

Q: Do I have to complete the class in a certain time limit?

A: Yes, you will have about 3 weeks to complete the videos. However, we encourage you to complete the content within a week or less.

Q: Do I have to complete the class in one sitting?

A: No, the online class platform will keep track of your progress. You can watch as little or as much as you want in each sitting.

Q: Are there materials needed for the class?

A: When you register, you will be sent a workbook by mail for each person registered to follow along with the online videos. The workbook is a fill-in answer format which follows the training videos and the in-person instruction.

Q: Do I have to become a member if I complete the course?

A: Nope. We hope the class affirms your desire to become a member but completion of the course does not obligate you to join?

Q: I've been a member of another church prior to attending Holy Cross. Do I need to take this class if I want to become a member of Holy Cross?

A: Completing our membership class in its entirety is required for all wishing to join. The goal of our class is to help you learn more about the specifics of what it means to be a part of Holy Cross Church. You'll learn new things in this class.
